When I start teaching, I know that I will be using the wikispace website. I believe it will be very helpful to both the students as well as myself. It will break down each lesson plan and help the students better understand what is expected of them.
Also, teachers.net provides lesson plans and also provides communication through teachers all throughout the country. There is also project ideas as well as jobs listed on the website.

I would like to better understand excel. I believe that my experience with it has been somewhat limited and I would like to fathom all of the uses of the program. Although the resources were available for me to expand my knowledge, I would like alternative methods of learning.
I would really like to take another education-technology related course. I believe it is important for all teachers to know all tools that can help them and help thier students. It is necessary in today's technologically advanced world to know all the resouces that are out there.

In chapter 8, security as well as ethical issues were discussed. I believe that the security of the internet has always been in jeopardy, whether that be about the websites seen or the viruses that plague innocent computers. Also, information searched should not be released to the government.
Since the last class, I have learned so much about Excel. It opened myself up to an entire new world of making life easier when it comes to organization. It makes teacher's more organized and provides a way for itself to calculate averages and highest test scores.
I really wish that the Stone building was closer to the center of campus. I always find it challenging to get here in ten minutes. Yet, I do enjoy the walk...I feel that I am actually getting good excercise. It's so challenging to actually find time and motivation to go to the gym. My strategy is to get up in the morning and put gym clothes on, that way I'm forced to go.

In chapter seven, they dicussed the various ways of integrating technology. I think that by including powerpoint as one of the teaching tools, students can comprehend the material faster. Overall, all aspects of technology not only make the teacher's life easier, but the student's as well.
In powerpoint, I learned how to make a create-your-own-ending storybook. I found it very interesting that there exists the possibility of making such a thing. I also found the animation tools very helpful in that it makes the students stay focused on the lecture.
I believe that this semester has completely flew by. It was my first semester back to Tallahassee, and I cannot believe how much I missed it here, and how much I will miss it when I go back home for break.

In Chapter Five, they helped to broaden my comprehension of the world of educational software. I still am in shock about how the technology can be used to help expand the knowledge of students as well as make the instructor's lives a bit easier. Also, the digital media applications I was well versed in, so that made little impact upon my previous knowledge.

This coming Thursday is my nineteenth birthday. I am so excited to finally be out of the eighteen range of life. This is the first birthday that I will have without my family nor my best friend being here. I really hope that it will be amazing...

In Chapter four, they discussed media devices as well as input and output devices. Previously, I had no conception of what media devices consisted of, but after completing the reading, the options for such a program seems infinite in the classroom.

In Chapter 3, it discussed the various uses of application software. I found the description to be quite useful in the respect that it helped broaden my knowledge. I believe that the various software discussed really does help to expand the productivity of teachers.
Since the last chapter, I have discovered various tools of Microsoft Word, of which I was previously unaware of. I believe that the functions that were introduced will help my teaching as well as improve student's skills.
I thought that this past assignment seemed a lot harder than it really was. After completion, I felt as though I had a massive headache because I was staring at the computer for so long.
